STRIPED BASS ARE CALLED ROCKFISH LOCALLY IN MARYLAND,THEY COME INTO THE BAY TO SPAWN IN THE RIVERS THAT FEED THE ESTUARY,WE OPEN A SEASON FOR THESE LARGE FISH THAT MOVE IN AND BACK OUT TO SEA AFTER SPAWNING .

  • I use 30 lb.test on the rod to a heavy duty swivel.and a 50 lb.test leader 20 ft. long,and a 4oz .parashute with a 6 to 9 inch rubber sassy shad.some rigs had 4 oz. inline trolling sinkers to run deeper.
