Ramadan in America - Baltimore Muslims Community Iftaar

The Islamic Society of Maryland & Muslims Community in Greater Baltimore Area hosted an Iftaar dinner for the local religious and political figures. The Iftaar is a daily meal to break the fast for Muslims and according to the president of Baltimore Muslim Council Hasan Jalisi, the purpose of this interfaith and community Iftaar is to represent the true teachings of Islam for the people and to cope with the negative propaganda about the religion.
