Oh...how will I ever get out of here?! I sit down on the cold floor and sigh. I hold on to the N necklace around my neck. I rub it between my finger and thumb, wishing luck would appear in my future. But so far, my future looked cold and dark. For now.

Twas the night before christmas
and that day was spent
by sitting on a ground
made of cement.


Nick's POV

I glance at the clock. 5:00. I wonder what Joe's up to...probably writing his song for Sarah. So I shouldn't bug him. I know! I'll call Claire! I pick up my phone and dial her home phone. (made up #) 1-555-349-8638.

Ring Ring! Ring Ring!

???- Hello?
Nick-Claire
???-No. Sarah
Nick- Oh. Can I talk to Claire?
Sarah- She's not here right now
Nick-Where is she?
Sarah- I don't know. Miley came over and took her on a drive.
Nick- WHAT?! When did they leave?
Sarah- About an hour ago.
Nick- Claire + Miley = no good. Thanks Sarah. I'm gonna go out and look for her.
Sarah- What do you mean? She's with Miley
Nick- You know Miley though! She hate's my GF's...
Sarah- Ohh...right. Well, what are you waiting for! Go find Claire!
Nick- Yes Ma'am!

I hang up and grab my coat. I slip it on and I go outside. It was pretty cold. I walk to Miley's house and ring the door bell. It slowly creaks open.

Miley- Nicky!
Nick- Miley, wheres Claire
Miley- What are you talking about?
Nick- You took her on a "drive" earlier.

I put air quotations around drive.

Miley- Oh! Right! Well, I dropped her off. Have you checked her house-
Nick- yes
Miley- Oh. What about-
Nick- yes
Miley- Uhh...have you tried-
Nick- YES! Where is she?!
Miley- If I tell you will you be my boyfriend?
Nick- No! I'm Claire's BF!
Miley- Fine! I guess you won't find Claire
Nick- What! NO!
Miley- Fine. At least give me a kiss. On the lips.
Nick- fine! Just tell me where she is!
Miley- In that old shack we would play in when we were young.
Nick- Why'd you lock her in there?
Miley- I thought she might want to know where we spent most of our childhood!
Nick- Ugh! Whatever!

And I run off to the woods to where the shack is.

Claire's POV

A tear trickles down my cheek and lands on the concrete floor, leaving a light stain. I check my phone. 5:30. I've been in here for over an hour! I rest my head in my hands and start to cry. Suddenly, theres a knock on the door and it bursts open.
