Mv8800 is super dope. I've made cds from scratch. Mixes masters. Gota mic hooked up to it. straight studio. We spit on it all the time. Hit up my vids. All the music on there I made w the 88. It has mastering tool kits w presets u don't have to use and u can custom all kinds of stuff. The only thing I think it could use is more more more crazy effects. I never used akai or anything this is my first. Not much on the tube w these..let's change tht. I have yet to chop much.

That machine is dopeee! I have it. Maybe u can help me out. How do u chop and listen to what your chopping while your doin it and how do u set th bpm on a sample to stretch and match in real time to the bpm of your pattern? I'm using audio phrase to chop. Can u help me out??

Foreal, you really mixed and mastered that on the MV-8800. It sound really good. Does the MV have mastering presets or is it a manual for mastering?

Im planning on purchasing one, I have never used either of em so any information would help tremendously. Ya, The MPC wasn't too difficult to learn. If you have made beats before it will be a pretty smooth transition.
