Are you also taking vitamin D? Mine was low preop, too. I was put on 50,000 i.u. weekly and it came right up. Postop, I stopped taking it and it dropped again. So now, I'm back on it (for life now). Most people in the U.S. are vitamin D deficient but don't know it, according to the docs/surgeons I've spoken to. It'd be a good idea for everyone to have that lab tested!

yes i am taking one pill a week. 3 bucks each. for my vit D. but can i get you to talk to my aunt who is on her way over here to cook me some liver and onions?? for my iron diffency. giggles im not eating it.

I love the new cut! You look 15 yrs younger! I am sorry to hear that they've postponed your surgery but I hope that gives you time to rest some and get your blood work up to snuff so that that when the times come you sail through with no probs! Take care!
