iPhone 3GS dropped in the pool. Still works!

Update: 7/1/09: People seem to think I work for Apple. Do you hear that Apple? I would be more than willing to work for you and move to Cupertino, CA. Just let me know. Free stuff also appreciated :-)

I updated info for people having questions about format, why I didn't upload from iPhone, and lanyard. I had NO IDEA this was going to get this much response!!!! Click on 'more info' above to see all of it.

Was trying video on my new iPhone 3G S at the pool and dropped it in the pool. Don't know if it's waterproof, but it still works fine. I had a few people comment on seeing a strap in the video. I have a rubber cover and had put a strap through the earpiece hole to avoid just this type of thing. I didn't have it on my wrist at the time, but believe me, I will from now on!!!! Maybe the rubber cover helped with it not getting damaged.

Update:
Got people wondering why I didn't upload straight from iPhone and aspect ratio.
As FYI, I downloaded video to computer, and used NeroVision to make 'YouTube' Friendly and as small as possible. Apparently, it changed the format. As you can see, this is my first vid on YouTube, so I didn't know. Wish I had kept the original.
I will take a video of case with strap when I get back from vacation and upload it DIRECTLY from my iPhone. Any other videos I upload will be directly from iPhone (learned my lesson). As of 6/28/09, phone still works fine.

I dropped my iPod touch in the bath a while ago. It worked for about 10 seconds then it wouldn't let me press anything, then it turned fully off. Then I tried turning it on, but it came up with the apple logo then turned off again. I left it to dry and it works now :) got the iPhone for Xmas tho x ur a lucky dude!

My martial arts teacher just put his iPhone 4 through the washer and dryer..still works. They only knew it was in there because of the thumping sound it was making in the dryer.
