1962 Fender Brownface / Blonde Bandmaster amp. Demonstrated through the vibrato channel played with 1985 Made In Japan Fender '52 Telecaster.

This amp had been heavily modded in the late 60's. Someone had painted it black (which i removed with a heavy coating of brake fluid, and a shop vac) and someone had put in a 1962 reverb tank out of a Hammond organ.
This is a players amp!

  • finally someone who demos the tremolo on this thing!!

  • What cab and speakers did you use?

  • 5 STARS FOR US AND THEM :D

  • great amp, who does it belong to ?

  • You had me at the first three licks!!! Dead on Accurate!!! Great Job!!

  • That's a rare trem circuit in that particular amp. It sounds very similar to the one Catalinbread used as a template for their Pareidolia Harmonic Mesmerizer, not surprising as it's copied from the trem of a 1961Twin. Nice demo

  • What's the mic for this demo?

  • @gretscher Brownface is basicly in between a tweed amp (raunchy, fat mids, great overdrive), and a blackface (Cleaner, More Sparkle, a little harsh at times)

  • Great Pink Floyd rendition. Nice job man. I love the tone of the Tele and brownface Fender. Could you tell me the difference tonally between a brownface and blackface Fender? Thanks much.
