Burrillville crash victim transported by Life Flight helicopter

Route 102 in Burrillville, RI was closed for several hours as emergency workers worked to free several people trapped in a car following a crash early in the morning on November 21, 2009. There were two cars involved in the accident which took place on RT102 near Central street. At least one person was taken to an area hospital by ambulance and another transported via Life Flight helicopter to Boston. The chopper landing zone was about a mile away, at Burrillville High School.

This is awful. My cousin was in this accident and is so lucky to be alive....apparently someone was lookin' out for him imo. I live in another state and was able to view this here I almost wish I couldn't have.....these images were disturbing to me.
