@avidamartin VR is take-off speed, V1 is the maximum speed an aborted take-off can be performed at. Any faster and they have to carry out the takeoff.

I thought that airplanes need an average of 40-45 seconds before reaching "V1" or take off speed?

@tolaviator Yep it's true! I just booked my AA flight from PHX to ORD with a connection in DFW to AA Flight 2350 which is a B777 service. I'll be in seat 34A!!
