He makes a lot of good points, and being from central Texas, I definitely agree there are characters like that that do care about football more than education, but the south does have some pretty respectable academic institutions, such as: Vanderbilt, Miami, Rice, Texas at Austin, and UVA and UNC, just to name a few...

Why is it that if you are any other race than white you can yell, scream, tear things up and do pretty much anything in anyway that you see fit in order to express who are and why you feel that way, but if your white you can't even think of the term "I'm proud to be white" without having to be humiliated for saying that. "I am Very Proud to be a Straight, White-Male and American!" If that offends you ...then to fuckin' bad!!!
