Part of the reasin The Big O was so awsome was Roger: no young idiot angsty robot piolet was he. Roger Smith is James Bond, Bruce Wayne, and little Spike Spigel thrown in for good measure. In a word:cool.

I dont like anime but I've always enjoyed this show, I like that film noir feel and the mystery. Of course at first I cringed at the giant robot but eh it's fairly important to the story.
