  • yea the frame on mine where trigger link runs, towards the rear, is paper thin ..... no other signs of excessive wear tho, and functionally i cant see where that would serve as a "weak link" so to speak. How did your reassembly go?

  • Glad you found it helpful! It's a little tricky getting the trigger guard pin back in; I had to shoot my reassembly vid a few times to get it to go in that smoothly (and to keep it under 15 min). Another note: apparently it's common with this gun for the slide stop spring to have been lost; Mine would jam every 2-3 rounds, and i ended up making a spring, which drastically improved the jams (every 5th clip or so).. havent contacted S&W yet about genuine replacement springs.

  • Terrific "how to" thanks for sharing!

  • why i'm i so tempted to do this? it's amazing how all these little parts work together for the benefit of the pistol... i should'a been a gunsmith. :)

  • excellent! thank you so much for posting this!!!!! I have 2 ppk and have been looking for instructions!

  • @russianCosmonauts. Nevermind, I believe you are correct. I guess Walther stopped doing that and allows S&W to

    Manufacture them here now

  • @RussianCosmonauts Made or assembled?

  • @drinkuptjaden

Mine was made in Virgina, USA. (My PPK)

  • I'm pretty sure that all Walthers are made in Ulm, BW, Germany, an are just imported by S&W

  • Excellent job on this video. You give very detailed instructions. As a Smith/Walther Armorer I commend you.I bookmarked it for my own future use. THANKS!
