if you look up (on google) free downloads for Any Video Converter, it has a part where you just put in the video url and it downloads it for you.

click on 'window' then 'activity'..... find the largest file (typically between 5 and 10 mb maybe more) then highlight, hold down option and double click it... that'll download it. You'll then need a program called iextract to rip the mp3 from the video.

you can download any youtube video with safari or firefox.
