During this era, racism was so evident, him winning a single race is a great accomplishment and he should be in the hall of fame for having the courage and dedication to pursue his dream.....latemodel33d you need to wake up, its 2012!

he won a singular race not hall of fame material,not justifiable cuz he was black. should we put white basketball players in hall of fame cuz they made a basket? look at gordon,johnson,kenseth. all of whom won more that a race. so quit puttin this man on a pedistal cuz he is black.

Willy T. Ribbs was a great driver but he hardly ever raced in nascar. He woulda been good though. Wendell Scott should be in the nascar hall of fame while his sons are still alive.
