  • Maybe a corroded ground wire?

  • finally figured it out! It was a vacuum leak caused by a rupture in the oil vent line.

    thanks for the comments everyone!

  • looks like the battery contacts battery might have some rust on it.

  • If its a diesel u need to let the glow plugs warm up...

  • sounds like the battery getting low and maybe i ignition problem!

  • How did u fix that vacuum problem?

  • At least it starts....

  • Just take the wires off from the battery. clean the battery contacts and the wires put everything back and that should fix it.

  • the chip in my volkswagen jetta has broken, so when i start my car its stop one minute latter. what to do?

  • @bfl9076 do you can tell me where is located that part? I have same problem on my passat.

    thanks.

  • I had the Same issue with my 01 Jetta along with a few other issues with my security system. I did some research and decided to change out my old aftermarket stereo and replace it with new aftermarket that was compatible with my Jetta. Haven't had any starting issues since..i can't explain it but it worked....Sony Xplod MEX-BT3950U is the deck i purchased.
