Weirdest Glitch Ever In Halo 3!!!

I was playing halo 3 campaign and i shot a rocket a flood, hoping it would kill it, but instead the flood dude just punched it!
Ok this is what happened:
1. The flood was trying to melee the elite as he ran past, but missed, hitting the rocket instead.
2. now you can see in this vid that the elite didnt hit the rocket with the hammer or shoot the fuel rod.
3. no other flood around did anything or shoot anything

I made up the rocket ball in 2004

No it's not a glitch I can do it in mulitiplayer it's not hard if u spawn a grav hammer and a rocket launcher and shoot the launcher at the person and the other person hit the hammer at the rite time u can swing it away it's called rocket ball I made it up ages ago

Since Halo 3, if a Hunter of flood form hit an incoming rocket at the right time, they can knock it aside. Quite frustrating on Halo: Reach.
