@mr41ststreet - nope... to join up with Israel.

@THELDSLIFE what does that have to do with me as a Black man? Do you really believe that jews there are really the the Israel we suppose to be bwoing down to?
-
@mr41ststreet - the same Israel which had been carried on by the Apostles, spoken of by John the Revelator, who had been ever thankful that the Lord's blessings continued to be poured out through Israel during the years immediately following the resurrection of Christ. (See Revelations 1:5-6)
The same Israel which continues today. The same Israel which is continuing to be gathered, adopting new members, and blessing the nations just as promised to Abraham. (See also Genesis 12:3)

@THELDSLIFE what Israel do you speak of?

All must receive the Lord through Israel and that ones baptism must be done via someone that is authorized to do so. Authority is something that must be given by the Lord. It is not to say that ALL will be damned. Unfortunately, there will be MANY in this life who will not receive the baptism. If men remain in an unrepentant state up until the final day of judgment, then it is THEM and only THEM who are in any real danger. The Millennium/1,000 years of peace will exist to tie up ALL loose ends.

I think the problem is that there is both deliberate and accidental descriptions of what we believe. If I were to hear what I have heard from others what we believe rather than from the source I'd think it was weird also. We simply worship God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Ghost. You claim that we 'attack' other churches simply because in some quotes from two hundred years ago God said that the other faiths had lost much truth, that is not attacking, big dif

Finally, to answer your question on how do we know that God loves us. He sent his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to die for us so that we may be forgiven of our sins and return to our Father in Heaven one day. That also testifies that Jesus Christ loves us so much, that he gave his life for us. Heavenly Father gave us the scriptures as a manual to life so that we may progress and have His guidance. He loves each and everyone of us. We are His children.

There's no physical evidence to prove it, it's all built by faith. That's the purpose. I know you have been visited by missionaries, and that's great that you listened to them instead of going by what others say and turning them away and not listening. However, if you're wanting to know the truth, I invite you to continue investigating about the church with an open heart, and pray to God with an intent heart to know if it's true.
I'm a devout Mormon and I REALLY appreciate your input and how polite you are with your constructive criticism. I would just like to make one comment. Yes, we do believe that we are the true Church of Jesus Christ, however, our view of damnation is different from orthodox christianity. When we say damned, we mean damned from recieving certain blessings, NOT damned to hell. Actually we believe that even the harlot will go to a place so beautiful you would kill yourself to get there if you saw it.
