  • Delete this video please is damage!!

  • The audio was such that I could not understand the guys voice; very garbled. When he bent his head down he was clear. Move the mike up.

  • I wish I could enjoy what appears to be good video. The audio needs to be corrected. It is unlistenable.

    Bummer.

  • really need them to fix the audio on this vid!!!

  • Have had up to 3 stays. I used forestay (for the headsail), innner forestay (for the staysail), and genny forestay.

on the Genny forestay, you can only set up a genneker, but on the forestay and inner forestay, you can set up something else than a jib or a staysail (for instance storm sail)

Another example would be to set up a staysail on the forestay, and a storm sail on the inner forestay, so u can have a lot of combinations (some work, some dont) Try those and see what works for the boat.

  • Australien662 ; Just curious,, what if you have a jib and two staysails (large vessel), would you call it a forestay or a jib stay so as to differentiate between the many stays? I use my Genoa the majority of the time, and like yourself generally just refer to it as the forestay.

  • Jib Stay?

What if the sail is not a Jib, but, for instance, a Genoa? or a Yankee? (yes, a Yankee is the name of a stupid person, as well as the name of a sail)...

It is called a Forestay, not a jib stay..

  • Once you finished learning with them, get a refund and learn to sail in a proper sailing school. that one is terrible....

  • I'm learning with these guys. It's free, don't complain.

  • problems with audio, but still very useful
