I wish you I had had videos like these around when I first got my period 15 years ago! It's so great that you do this sixtwentysevenblog!
-
@sixtwentysevenblog They are cheep too, and good quality!
-
Not that this has anything to do with the vid but tampax makes an absorbency thats even more than super plus, its called ultra, and they work really well. So if anyone has a really heavy cycle, try them, becuz I love them!
-
in u by kotex , regular = lite & super= regular. so that's why...
-
The u by kotex doesn't work for me and I'm thirteen! I use playtex sport but I just tried kotex security tampons and I really like them! I'll have to get some.

@bubblemakeup123 i am young (in my youngish teens) and used the kotex securetey tampons and they don't hurt
-
@Alineniz thx

@xxItsLuvxx the FDA and Wikipedia have some good info on that if you google "toxic shock syndrom"
-
@xxItsLuvxx You should never leave your tampons in for more than 4-6 hours. There is a very rare but real risk of something called TSS (toxic shock syndrom). It was a health issue in the 80s and 90s especially (where some women died because of some super absorbent tampons that you could leave in for longer periods of time). What I usually do to keep it healthy is alternate between tampons and pads.

@123loola789 Ahhh, I see. Well you can always hop on google and try seeing if they sell them online... but I'm not sure if they do. Hope you can find some!
hey quick question about da kotex security tampons........can you leave those in for eight hours i have used tampons before but i never used this type!!

@xxItsLuvxx You definitely do NOT want to get in the habit of judging tampons by how many hours you can leave them in. All tampons absorb a specific amount of liquid, so it's not a matter of how long, but how heavy your flow is. What I can say is that Kotex tampons offer a nice amount of leak protection. Of course if your flow is heavier it doesn't matter if you were wearing a Super Duper tampon, you'd have to change it lol.

well im younger... and that huge thing might acually HURT my down there. but ummm yeah. i guess i kinda understand tho. i mean-im sure have "reasons" for needing bigger ones

@bubblesmakeup123 In all honesty, the larger applicators are only to accommodate the slightly larger tampon. Larger tampons are more absorbent and can hold heavier amounts of liquid.
