yeah, i have the xl-5, with a 7 cell. im using the 28 pinion and a 76 spur with steel idler gear and other various hopups. Goes around 46

i have a rc throphy truck it is elecrtic it goes about 39mph!!!!

the pic u showed at beginning is vxl rustler, u have xl5 rustler, it goes 27mph on 6 cells and 35 on 7 cells with highest gearing

fathead431... my rustler goes 43mph we measured with a speed gun! i put top speed pinion gears in it and i told the guy at the store to make it have full top speed and its soooo fast now!
