Double Dragon II published by Virgin Mastertronic (1989), music by Dave Lowe (Uncle Art).

Title / Level 1 (0:00), Level 2 (1:40), Level 3 (2:28).

Target Renegade published by Imagine (1988), music by Gary Biasillo.

Title (4:10), Level 1 (6:12), Level 3 (7:37).

Double Dragon 2 details: http://www.lemon64.com/games/details.php?ID=753

Target Renegade details: http://www.lemon64.com/games/details.php?ID=2603

btw. I didn't upload all tracks since the rest of them in both games are only short loops. Extreme example of this is a seven second long loop with only three chords in TR levels 2 and 5. TR normally loads with Ocean Loader 4.

  • Gotta say, i found the DDII c64 music so catchy and as for TR,...my favourite c64 soundrack!

Hi, the speccy version of this game ruled but the c64 music really was the daddy for this game.

However, I have to say the "weeeooowww" part of this music in TR on this upload does not sound right, this must be a pc emulator?! I have uploaded the game including the full title music of this game on my site, i recorded it directly from my actual c64 so you know it's the real deal.

    check it out :-)

  • @ZEUSDAZ Nice to see recordings from real computers as reference, especially the c64 since analog SID emulation is not 100% accurate. The best way to listen c64 tunes is to use a real c64 or download a high quality recording. SOA SID Collection has lots of high quality downloads. YT videos always get reduced quality not depending on source, for example because of forced frame rate conversion and compression so game videos in YT will not equal to authentic. Best luck with your channel.
