KIIS FM (102.7) - Bruce Vidal - 1984

After a few years at KIIS-FM (102.7,) Bruce Vidal (and the entire crew) is sitting on top of the WORLD! A 10-Share in Los Angeles (never achieved by an FM station) and the most listened to radio station in the nation Ironically, right down the street, his wife (Laurie Allen) was a direct competitor at KMGG (Magic 106.) Two years later, Bruce continued to rule the airwaves, and KMGG switched formats (KPWR Power 106) and fired everyone!

Didn't know KIIS in LA had reverb. WKSF (99.9 Kiss-FM) in Asheville NC sure did:)

Back when radio was entertaining. The jocks all sounded like they were just having so much fun and as you can see they were. Now... you might not even find a jock in the booth, its all automated now. This is how big

corporate saved radio??
