  • Can you come to my school and tell them this?

  • I just saw the movie "The International". In one scene somebody says that the purpose of banks is to burden you with debt. How true, whether it's loaning dictators the money to buy AK-47's or students the money to go to college.

  • I dropped out of high school, best move I ever made XD

  • I took out a loan prior to 2008, so therefore, it was a federal loan, which sucks. This means these demonic, evil bastards (Sallie Mae) have siced their dogs on me and now have garnished my disability. It's royally fucked up.

  • I have a B.S degree. Don't get one if you need to borrow, especially private loans from Sallie.

  • Many college dropouts and high school dropouts became very successful. You just need to be smart about. I believe one of the richest guys in the world was a college dropout...his name escapes me. I'd google it but Internet Explorer is giving me fits right now.

  • why doesn't the white house hire people like david cay johnston? oh yeah, the other economists carry water for banks and wall street, who fund politicians, for favors.

great book, "free lunch", just finished "all the devils are here" about how the sub prime industry wrecked the economy.

david is awesome, i just wish he'd quit using the term, "corporate socialism", to describe how banks are screwing us, i think he means the government in bed with business, which is really fascism.

  • It's not college that's the scam, it's the way it's paid for. do you think the colleges are the ones getting those profits? They're getting exactly their tuition costs and the corporations are seizing the rest.

  • College is a scam. Don't do it. You will wind up owing $40,000 in debt.
