Of course Repubs are purposely slowing the economy for political gain... That is why they are focused on everything else but jobs.That actually shows that the Stimulus did work. The Stimulus was meant to stop hemorrhaging that Repubs left the state of the country in not, to fix the entire economy only to stop the bleeding. Repubs now have to purposely slow progress down so that they have a chance of winning in 2012. Its actually funny, in a sad way. I think they are showing their asses. lol

Romney had been asked about three things: unemployment, the stock market, and the GDP, and he responded that he didn't say "things" were worse (what things? the three things he was just asked about).

Romney's other statements had all referred to the economy's "recession" being made worse in duration and severity.

When unemployment goes up 2 percantage points during a presidency you cant claim victory unless you have a plan, The stimulus plan failed miserably. How about shovel ready.
