This was shot on a very old Bell and Howell silent super 8 film camera that I found at a Goodwill for $3. I don't know the exact model; the model name was etched on the battery cover, which I have misplaced. The film stock is Ektachrome 64t. I do know that it is an auto-aperture camera. I imagine that it was a pretty bare-bones consumer model in it's day. For all it's faults and woes, however, I think the footage came out surprisingly serviceable.

Some of the color was lost in the transfer, so I did a little bit of color and contrast correction in Avid Media Composer. The footage is very rough, I know. I'm very new to super-8 film, and this was the first time I'd put this camera through the paces, so I apologize for the shaky shots and (very) soft focus at times.

The song used is "Years and Years and Years..." by Fridge, from their album "The Sun".

thanks,
