@tobycat11 I don't care either. I want to see the current version of Yes live and I will buy the new CD the day it comes out.

Been going to their gis for 38 years, am used to them changing personel every tour and record. I can't see the whimpering about benoit not being jon. Who gives a fuck when they bust this song out this magnificently, including Benoit's uncanny and remarkable interpretation of this, one of the greatest prog masterpieces of all time. I could weep for the beauty of this song and the freshness for which they pull it off here. Chris Squire if'n your read'n this as I know you sometimes do, I luv U man

david sounds more like jon than jon
..almost

As one who saw Yes in their prime five times I can honestly say nobody sounds like Jon except Jon. I also got the chance to see Wakeman do Journey To The Center Of The Earth. In all of their performances the recorded ones for the Yessongs were some of the best I have ever seen bar none. Queen, Clapton, Zeppelin,Wishbone Ash,Blue Oyster Cult, Boston,Heart,ZZ Top,Grand Funk,Skynyrd, Hendrix,The Who,Jethro Tull, B.B. King,Ten Years After and Later. The only band that came close was Little Feat.

that's a jam up list of bands, I assume, that were seen in their prime during 70s? saw a few from this list in 70s including yes a few times, but the others were mostly seen in 80s, 90s or later. Still haven't seen BOC live, but saw they are playing NYC (BB King's) in March 2010. Got their live DVD and it is incredible show, want to see them, even if some of the old guys aren't touring, Buck 'n Bloom are still driving it.

yeah, certainly jon of the 70s rather than 65-something jon now, getting old is a bitch... :-(

Yeah. I downloaded a copy of the "Alien Ballroom" dub of the Hampton, VA concert that someone else posted online (google it). They got the complete concert near the sound board, and the sound is superior to what I captured on the vid.
