  • You people don't know what you're talking about. This guy should NEVER have shown up in uniform to a caucus, and if he was going to show up at all, he NEVER should've mentioned that he's in the service. This is learned in basic training. He's entitled to his opinions - yes, but he's NOT to discuss them in such a forum and NOT IN UNIFORM. For you whiners out there who don't think he should be punished: do your research. The law's the law, and it is, INDEED, the law in the service. Try me.

  • @rehenrick Ok troll, we realize the military doesn't allow political speech in uniform. I think that's kind of what people are complaining about.

  • @8bitRicky- This is like someone wearing the logo for the company they work for & saying "I work for this company and these are my politics". It is misleading and makes the individual's politics the company politics. It is basic logic that this is not a good thing for any organization. The military has valid reasons for this policy.Rehenrick isn't a troll for stating what the regulations are.Does this really need to be spoon fed that this is basic professionalism ?

  • @CanklesInKorporated If someone in a Wendy's uniform tells me they like Mitt Romney, I won't assume that Wendy's supports Mitt Romney. The reason the military won't let them do this is because they aren't supposed to have minds of their own. The military trains soldiers to obey without question. They want solidarity. Otherwise, when they're involved in illegal & unnecessary wars, they will be able to speak out which will expose the truth to the people and lower troop morale.

  • @CanklesInKorporated And while I never really took a stand on whether this policy is right or wrong, I do think it's a little messed up that they are allowed to fight, kill, and die in that uniform but not talk in it. Btw, I called him a troll for being an asshole, not for citing regulations.

  • he is nothing but a BIG SHEEEPPP LOOSER....

  • @99cacahuate You are the sheep. This man signed up to fight for your freedom and security and has been doing it for a decade. He has seen firsthand what the war looks like at the front. Have some respect you ignorant jackass.

  • Fuck you cnn! Let the soldier speak you pussy ass nitpicking bitches. Get out there and serve two tours.

  • @JustinSepheren - 10 years and an E-4. He must be doing something right....oh wait.

  • @rehenrick ...

  • @Americansoldier11x So now I'm a troll AND a schmuck [sic]. Check. Got it. I'll tell ya' what, 11X (are you actually in the service, by the way?): throw me some examples of uniformed soldiers who supported those candidates - with impunity - and I'll be sure to cave.

I'm still impressed by how many folks think this should be allowed... Does anyone else know WHY we don't allow uniformed troops to speak at public political forums?

  • @rehenrick ok schmuck, why is the law not enforced when troops in uniform give support to Obama, Bush, McCain, Romney, Clinton, Kerry, or Al Gore? huh? Only when its Ron Paul then its a huge issue!
