Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, that's what I think too. But I'm gonna keep denying it and find some other excuse as to why he's so apprehensive to return.

Lois was alright until S8, and then the pussfied her to an unlikeable.

And Chloe, Chloe is alright, the writers just seem to be going to extremes, like Lois is either complete bad ass, or complete puss, same with Chloe, and all the other characters. Hopefully next episode will be good, Hopefully they go back to Smallville roots, But the sad things is I'm just like you hoping that Smallville will take an upturn

@jin37uk I couldn't have said it better myself. Smallville has gone from the story of Clark becoming Superman to how the women in Clark's life keep him from being completely worthless in each episode. Viva la Girl Power.

@NamanIV I completely agree with your points. I am tired of the plot contrivances; first in Icarus and now in Collateral. It's deus ex machina to the max. The VRA forces just happen to know exactly what method to knock everyone out at Carter's funeral; accounting for biological differences and individual powers. Then Chloe just happens to magically have everything planned out to save the day in the nick of time; computer programs and tactics that could take several programmers months to do.

to me the vra has nothing to do with darkseid. it was general lane pushing for the bill and he wasnt affected by the (DARKNESS). fuck lois.
