  • I did exactly this and the it's spilling gas out the over flow. so annoying, didn't have this problem before.

  • @markusx2468 The float is to high or the needle is not seating properly.

  • when instlling the floats back in with the carb upside down like that, should the needle have enough spring pressure to where the float kind of "hovers" to where you can press on the floats a little and let go and the kind of spring back up?

  • @mxkx48 I do not recall how much pressure there is on the needle.If in doubt do a level test before putting the carb in service.

  • @richpin06a How did you shape the tapered end of the wooden dowel....

  • @1234pearls I shaped it on the bench grinder.

    a product call mouse milk works really really well at helping to remove stuck or corroded parts.
