  • @123kkambiz Tool steel is used in most FSW tip.

  • can you tell me what is the material of the rotating conical tip, it should have temperature tollerance of more than 1000 degree centigrade. for low temperature welding material like aluminium or copper and so the temp. of 1000 degree tollerance it may be ok what about hen you want to use high temperature alloys for friction stir welding. what would be material and what about its tempering temperature, that also should be high enough not change its physical and metalurgical characteristics.
