  • Evolution is as basic as gravity

Evolution is not an invention of the devil.

    Evolution is not against god.

Evolution is accepted by the grreat majority of scientists in appropriate fields.

Evolution is accepted by the Vatican.

Evolution is fought by fanatics, simple-minded, people who take the bible litterally, and those who have a vested interest.

  • Dr. Jackson has his bachelor's degree in Biology, a master's in Science Education, and a master's in Environmental Biology from George Mason University. He earned his doctorate in at University of Virginia.

  • I think to intimidate a child who still has no problem with God but is thinking of believing in evolution and intimidating them or threatening them with embarassment is child abuse, it is that simple. It is human nature but unlike he says I don't think humans are that maniachle that they want to find the altimate extreme in everything and act like that is all there is. I really enjoy what they are doing at the Large Hadron collider and the mispelling of the name in a book.

  • It varies with other creatures but humans would probably need alittle more because they are so similar to each other. I am alittle scared of people who say that if they were convinced of evolution they would quite going to church. I'm not saying it wouldn't effect me but is I was convinced of evolution then it would do almost nothing to my christianity and nothing to decide wether I was a Christain or not, that is obsurde.

  • As far as the minimum number for a viable even human population. For most of the time sense then and now you would need something like a minimum of 3 or 4 thousand or so people 90% plus of reproductive age, maybe down to 2,900 but a minimum of 3 to 4 thousand with half male and half female living close enough to each other to breed in order for there to be no perminant damage to humanity. You might be able to replenish it with less not not a full recovery.

  • Even though the sons and daughters on the ark may have bred alot more, Noa and his wife also bred quite a bit after so there were four breeding pairs at least. We don't know all the stuff that happened to the other people we just know at the end of the flood they were the only humans alive but the wasted no time breeding. Among other things they were specifically chosen for their good genetic and likely had the best in the world at the time.

  • @Hydragurum We have OBSERVED thousands of transitional fossils.

We have OBSERVED the DNA hierarchy in animals

We have OBSERVED the vestigial organs in animals no longer needed or used

We have OBSERVED vestigial genes in animals, such as teeth genes in chickens which are deactivated.

Can you TRY to understand science. Forensic SCIENCE does NOT mean they OBSERVE (witness) the crime. They OBSERVE FACTS to work it out.

Evolution is a FACT. To deny it shows ignorance and lack of education

  • @systemnavigator Such hostility! YOU MUST be religious!! The rage is obvious. Are you Islamic and fly planes into buildings? Or are you catholic and then you like to touch little boys? Or are you Christian, and secretly have gay fanasties like Ted Haggard and so many others?

Because one thing is for sure, religion takes away people ability to see right from wrong. They are blinded by ancient text and their leaders and lose the abillity to follow normal social morality.

    They act with rage

  • @Futureplanet You are dillusional. Straw man argument again. There is more historical proof that Jesus died and rose from the dead than ANY proof of evolution. How long have you been smoking crack? You guys just get all pissed off and hold your breath till your face turns blue when we hit you with that one. Since I do NOT believe in MYTHS, don't miss-represent me by saying that I do. OWNED

  • @viper2808 It is a fact. Dictionary defination of myth:

1 noun. A traditional or legendary story, usually concerning some being or hero or event, with or without a determinable basis of fact or a natural explanation, especially one that is concerned with deities or demigods and explains some practice, rite, or phenomenon of nature.

Just because you believe these ancient myths doesn't make them true. Unicorns, fairies, witches, spirits and gods are all myths.

  • @Futureplanet That is your opinion! Not proven fact.

  • @lizazoon You can observe gravity happening over and over again; we haven't observed evolution. Evolution attempts to replace God's creative fiat by unguided naturalistic processes that have no purpose, so it is against God. Evolution is rejected by a great number of scientists in appropriate fields. The Vatican has a substandard view of the authority of God's word. Evolution is staunchly supported by biased atheistic religious organizations that view religious belief as an incubus on mankind.
