y dont u just use gas instead of starting fluid so u dont have to worry about wut the starting fluid does

Why didn't you tell me you had a Mustang all this time?
Don't know why you'd need any starting fluid, the 85' motor home starts after a longer spell then that with out any problems. Unless you count cranking and lots of pumpage.

The mechanic that works on all of dad's cars said that he thinks someone at some point tampered with the carb, and screwed something up. So, before we would ever seriously drive it out on the road, Dad would want to put a new carb on it. Once its warm though, it starts just as easy as any other car.
