  • Thank you For your support everyone. I am moving to NY City for a Month. Come check me out practicing at the Steinway Factory NY... dates to be decided...

  • Not bad! However, if you did a transcription, you should obviously have done a written score of it, right? I agree with contactMW, but I also do understand that jazz is difficult to right, especially for all the glissandos you and Tatum did. Although, good exhibition.

  • i have them all written down. I will get them published by the end of this year.

  • I've heard Art Tatum play this, and yes it is better. But this is YouTube, not TatumTube. The reason he posted this is the same reason you posted your videos: to show people his stuff. It also seems that plans on publishing this transcription, so it could also be an effective way of advertising.

Don't think that because you use big words that you sound smart or superior, you're just coming across as a pompous asshole. I saw your videos, and I don't feel that you're in a position to criticize.

  • Hey Chris, good job. Taum is the greatest at we what we do. I respect your desire to attain the most profound information of a great tradiion, Don't stop pursuing!!!!!!!!

  • @glevito

Yes it is. Tatum did different recordings of many songs.

  • Speechless. Awesome rendition.

  • Great job. What you do between 2:15 and 2:25 is not part of the original but brilliant.

  • Wonderful work Bro

  • You are amazing! Great work :)

  • wow.. you nailed art's touch pretty damn close man! very impressive, the best i've seen on youtube playing art tatum.

  • This boy does Tatum like very few others, so just don't look at the dude if you lot out there don't like the fact that he is not Tatum, sure sounds like him though and unarguably one of if not the best out there to date that I've heard doing that thang. Moreover a lot of Tatum's work got thrown and here is a guy reviving the legend yet there are those talkers who care criticise. Thanks Chris for showing all of us out there how it should be done.

  • Loved it, Man. Your work is great. You should hook up with the Art Tatum Jazz Society in Toledo. They'd love you (if they don't know you already.) Bravo!

  • You deserve way more views.Very nice.....

  • Great work man!
