We love them too!
This is an original aircraft made by the Thulin Works in Sweden in 1918. When it was restored and flown in 2010 to celebrate 100 years of Swedish aviation it was the oldest flying aircraft in Sweden, and one of the oldest flying craft in the world.
Our Blériot XI was specially registered with the air trafik authorities in 2010 as SE-AEC, experimental class. We have not had the opportunity to fly our Blériot again, but the registration is still active.

My grandfather was pupil on this plane. I have old photos but there are printed on the tail A4, A7 and other codes.

This Blériot XI belongs to The National Museum of Science & Technology in Stockholm. The Museum bought the plane in 1928, and it had already lost it´s registration plate and any identifying marks. We know from the construction that it is one the last batch of eight Blériot XI that were built by the Thulin works, AETA, in 1918. These had nos. A16-A23, but we don't know which it is. It probably never flew. A4 and A7 were both built in 1915, and were used at Thulin's flying school until 1919.
