Looks more like a Wing Chun drill to me, with the vertical fist and fluidity of hand movement

Love the vid! Just watched it twice and then started practicing the drill with my brother. More of it! P.S.: This is no shotokan karate, or am I wrong?

Tadashi Yamashita of Shorin Ryu Karate does this drill, too! Traditional Karate has many drills like this!

I will agree that the techniques did seem to follow the Chinese styles. Yet he refers it to Karate which is a Japanese term. However, Japan did form Karate from the Chinese styles. I can't say for sure but I am going to guess that the style of Karate he is demonstrating is Kempo or Kenpo.

This is Lubud Hubud from Filipino Martial Arts -- many wing chun people have adopted it.

This is Wing Chung not Karate. which is fine but the title is misleading.
This is shorin ryu karate :)

thank you for your comments, the video is showing the drill meant to hit the chest area, shoulders and neck but applicable to the face, i agree that the speed should be a bit slower to help absorb the technique, i am always open to comments and i appreciat yours i will take them and apply them in future videos.
