@fridun007 Its a metal pick. Zappa used them pretty often. You can see one on the "does humor belong in music" dvd too.

I had no idea he was a guest on Mike Douglas' show. Amazing recording. Like other fans, I too miss perhaps the best guitarist of our time. I only got to see him in concert a few time but remember each one vividly even today.
