America's Only Irish Station RADIOIRISH.COM is thrilled to announce the release of the highly anticipated sequel to the indie cult saga THE BOONDOCK SAINTS directed by acclaimed film director and writer TROY DUFFY. THE BOONDOCK SAINTS II: ALL SAINTS DAY stars BILLY CONNOLLY who returns, this time by the name 'POPPA M' in the fast-paced continuation of Troy Duffy's tough, stylized cutting edge saga of the MacManus brothers played by Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flanery. The two have been in deep hiding with their father, IL Duce (Billy Connolly) in the quiet valleys of Ireland, far removed from their former vigilante lives. When word comes through that a beloved priest has been killed by sinister forces from deep within the mob, the MacManus brothers return to Boston to mount a violent and bloody crusade to bring justice to those responsible. Tune in now to RADIOIRISH.COM to hear this special interview with celebrated actor and comedian BILLY CONNOLLY.

It's not unusual for a film to start out in limited release and then go national to international. The studios want to see how it's received so they don't waste money. The way it's been received so far should show that the film will do just fine at the box office...plus DVD sales will be through the roof just like they were on the first one.
