voter purges is a result of bush v. gore in 2000....the supreme court ruled that citizens do not have a constitutional right to vote. In a 5-4 decision "the individual citizen has no federal constitutional right to vote for electors for the President of the United States." -supreme court judge

The Bad thing about that is there is not really been a reason to vote in three primaries in decades.

The worst thing about Louisiana is that they did not allow the only conservtive running on its ballots, Bob Barr.
Instead we get to choose between the two big Government socialist.
Our Conservitive choices are not allowed in the debates and are not promoted by even talk radio...

In Illinois, if you haven't voted in 3 primaries you better reregister to vote at your local election board dept....

The first time I was allowed to vote due to age "Bush vs Gore" I registered, showed up, and was told that I was not allowed to cast a normal vote...I asked why the hell not and they told me that did not know why.
