Mother Teresa - Saint? or Sinner!

mother Teresa indicated in her own words that she never felt the presence of God. Nevertheless; the Catholics are eager to declare her a 'Saint'. This video exposes the links this woman had with dishonest criminals whose donations may have served as a sort of indulgence to avoid condemnation by the 'church' for their crimes.

Pity Catholics and many Protestants don't read and believe scripture on what it is to be a Saint! If Popes are not saints, how can they decree a saint status?

readbaldyhead, you're right! ... the definition of the word which is translated "saint" is: 1) sacred, holy, Holy One, set apart. One who is free of defilement, of crimes, of idolatry, and of other unclean things. The Popes are all guilty of criminal activity, are full of all manner of uncleanness, and idolatry.

The modern day worship of saints is idolatry, which is commanded against by God, and used as a reference of being unclean!

Was she accepting these stolen funds for herself? Or for helping the poor? And had she known about the Duvalier's and Charles Keaton's crimes when accepting the money?

Also, how can you antgonize her for accepting donations from the Opus Dei? Are you trying to say that when he handed her the money he said "here, KGB money"? C'mon. It's the OPUS DEI. Obviously she'd take THEIR money!

If she was a Christian, she wouldve done the works of Christ & follow his steps. Did he ally himself with criminals who offered what amounts to bribes for absolution? Receive dirty money, look the other way &defend criminals? Allow his image to be exploited by criminals who defraud people? Opus Dei isnt an upright organization; you make it sound like even God should pay them esteem. I see no evidence that Mother Theresa lived any life of luxury or used money to live a better life.

I doubt if many would keep their faith when working daily with the dead and the dying.
