I don't mean to seem over-analytical but I love how the scene where Frank comes out, slowly but surely, turns from a side-splittingly hilarious scene to a marvallously poignant one.

In fact, this scene reflects the moment when my best friend came out. Okay, he didn't broadcast it on radio, but like Geraldine, I was shocked for a few seconds, but I quickly accepted it after seeing how much this meant to him.
