Just a free vocal quick tip. Brett Manning talks about one of the hardest vowels to sing, "E". Traditionally singers will change the "E" vowel to an "Ay" or it will remain an "E" but be very strained, constricted, or squeezed sounding.

Brett shows how to use a sligthly different approach to find a full sounding "E". We think it works pretty well so tell us what you think.

The "ee" sound is written like this [i]. Where did you get your vocal pedagogy knowledge?

@angelsandskylights True; He could've done vocal slides, or vocal fry, or shown it off and ended it with a hell of a lot of vibratto...Anything to color that "drop" after the note produced....But the main point of the video was so you can hear the "E" note, with no coloring and no style...Because he knows not everyone can do all of that just yet. His mistake was his breathing, which probably caused it; I found that it was too intense...But this wasn't a lecture on breathing either lool.

Brett is a friggin' genius. I got his Singing Success program a few weeks ago and it genuinely did help me gain MORE than an octave in my range and I have been singing for 20 years.
