Children on leashes

This woman had her kids on leashes at the mall. It seemed to make them even more unruly and they created a massive foot traffic blockage.

The cute stuffed animals on the harnesses do nothing to detract from the loss of human dignity that results from treating your child like a dog.

Omg it's so horrible and degrading to put your child on a leash! It's so horrible to not want to risk your young child running away from you and being kidnapped and/or mudered! Please. If a child lets go from an adults hand and the adult turns away for even a second he/she can be snatched up just like that. Kids can run off and get snatched up in an instant. It has nothing to do with laziness or being a bad parent. Seriously, people act like they don't understand how the world works anymore.

@yosh6278 Some parents are just plain lazy that they use it to leash their children so that they can do things without worrying about them wandering off especially in crowded places. On my part, I use the harness when I taught my son to walk for him not to fall down and scratch or bruise himself. I don't use it to pull him around so that he doesn't have a choice but to go wherever I go. It's a pity that there are parents who do just that.

I think there is no problem with a leash, my toddler hate it that I hold her hand, and she want run everywhere, but with the leash, she feels she can go walk on her own but under my supervision, that way she dnt get lost.

i think people shouldn't judge other parents..the kids and mom seem perfectly fine, other people are the problem. i admit, i'm not too crazy about the idea of 'leashes' but sometimes a parent has no other option. i think a parent would rather keep their child safe than worry about judging idiots. have any of you ever thought if these or any children with these have special needs?? most don't know danger and just run off into the streets, so you can't 'train' them
