The underestimation of this lock leads to severe damage in training and competition. Here you get detailed information how to prevent and even counter this technique.
@wilberdp I'm with you, man. If I have someone in an armbar or whatever... I won't keep crankin' until they tap... There is no reason to risk breaking an arm or whatever if they get cocky. I'll just let go as soon as I break their grip. It's only a matter of time before they tap anyway, so why risk injury? Chokes are a different story though...
The thing people don't understand about "pain" submissions is you feel the pain for a reason. If you're in training or competition and someone has you locked up in a "pain" submission (or any submission for that matter), don't fight it. Tap and move on. You have nothing to gain from fighting through a bicep slicer, rnc, or anything. If it's in it's in. For this reason in training I have practiced "dangerous" subs with noobs. Just don't crank away, teach them they have lost the fight.

Thanks for the well made instructional video. My only recommendation is normalizing the volume; couldn't hear a thing. ;)

Damn, I wish I knew those escapes in my last tourny.
Lost on a SINGLE advantage from an exactly similar bicep-cutter!
I was just laying on top of the guy, did'nt tap, had no idea how to break-out, and get my points for side...
The difference between 1st and 3rd place... :D
