Feature length documentary about the Girl Scout Murders at Locust Grove in Oklahoma back in 1977 and the case of Gene Leroy Hart. Very good documentary and not to be missed!
Even if Gene Hart's supporters believed he was the victim of a frame-up in this case, he was still serving a sentence for the rape of two pregnant women in 1966 and so the fact that he should be some kind of folk hero and have a funeral attended by thousands is shocking and disgusting
Thanks for posting this as I've finally got to see it. The copy I got from eBay, when I finally got it from that seller was dirty and scratched up. Very heartbreaking to watch and to not know if justice will ever be served for those little girls.
This is a great service to share this and thanks.I had this copy and gave it away and regreted it for 15 years. The Indian storytelling combined with Dale Robertson and Johnny Cash is a treasure that will help all people understand this enigma.
Thank you for posting this documentary. I wad about 15 months old when the murders occurred. Both sides of my family live just a fee miles away from Camp Scott. I grew up hearing bits and pieces about the events. It had family members on both sides at odds over GLH's involvement in the events. To this day it is kind of a touchy subject.
