a very popular instrument, fender jazz, is still a classic choise for those who are looking for standard, classic bass tones. you can get 6 tones out of this bass with it's knobs and many more with your fingers, gear and imagination. you can slap it, palm mute it, you can play with a pick and always get great tones out of it. my amp is set flat. no eq. this is the sound of the bass by itself. i'll make a second video with slap sounds in a few days. i also use in this video my ebs drome combo amp and my zoom h2 recorder

@tunaman4u2 thank you for the comment. youtube vids can be sometimes a little misleading because the sound that you upload is being prosseced from youtube in way that some freq are affected. this bass sounds better even more in person. i'm pleased with it 100%. i can say that this 2008 am std line is fantastic. a true fender!
