  • I love this video, have watched it I don't know how many times. I remember back in the late '60's, I think it was, being at Boston Garden when The Sheik took on, and lost to, Bruno Sammartino in a hard-fought cage match. Farouk's entrance was really impressive, as he strode to the ring, walking proud with his head held back so that he was almost looking almost at the ceiling, looking very sharp in his bright red fez and canary yellow suit. I'll never forget that match.

  • @zyphoid666 hey, u must be from montreal or atlantic canada. steve strong came around when gino brito was runnin lutte inter. in the early 80s, frank valois was the promoter, & the stars were Dino Bravo, The Rougeau Family, Ricky Martel, Jean Ferre(Andre), Abdullah, Billy Robinson, Joe Le Duc, Mad Dog Vachon, Pat Patterson, & various other stars would pass through. it was a glorious time! i had 4 diff territories on tv every weekend t

  • @VeryShortShorts the terms "real" & "fake" or "phony" are irrelevent. Dr. Gerald W. Morton, of the U of south carolina, i believe, said the following," you don't go to a performance of Shakespeare in the Park and call it fake." it's simple... pro wrestling is the most athletic, most physical, most violent form of theatre on earth. it used to be much better, but..................

  • I know this question has been asked a countless amount times, but it continues to baffle me. How did ANYone believe that this was real?!

  • This guy was absolutely over with the fans back in the days when most folks believed this stuff was real. The Shiek was probably the best heel in history
