@milanosrv That is the fox body, DUDE. It's called a 2 step, for building boost for the turbo that is on it. Where in the world did you get that it was the brakes..on either car for that matter? Once again, Obviously, you have no clue. Also, I don't need to act, I know I can drive. I have driven that Fox Body in the video to a best of a 10.5 at 136 - it has a TKO600 (manual) in it. Still has more left in it too - easy low 10 to high 9 second car with some more suspension tweaks.

@milanosrv lol...you, obviously, have no clue. First of all, explain WHY wrecking of brakes will happen, second of all, don't make blanket comments assuming I can't drive because this car is an automatic. Again, you obviously, have no clue.

@GTO19020 Yes, it's rather sad. I spec'd out a new Camaro SS (base) with the manual and you get better ratio offerings with a super tall OD (1500rpm @ 60mph) versus the auto which bumps it up a bit but you can't take off as fast. Even with the auto (I refuse to pay more for a transmission...) you can take off faster with less wheel spin and allows for a second gear start in slippery conditions too which is a plus.

@RT360ci agreed....my statement was just in todays day and age if you want every last drop of performance, than an AUTO is the way to go(and ppl need to abandon that 80s and 90s way of thinking were te AUTOs were garbage)...and yeah, agree to the maintenance issue as well .
-
@GTO19020 I concur. However very few dual clutch autos allow for full manual control. A lot of them will downshift at 500rpm before hitting redline, or will revert to regular auto mode after certain amount of time has elapsed making it harder to hold gears as the PCM is programmed for fuel economy. Eorupeans own the market for dual trannies but there is still a lot more calibration to be done. Manual tranny is also less maintenance down the road too.

@RT360ci it is sad =( Autos do get wayyyyy more of a budget, but you have to acknowledge that even though a manual is more fun, a double clutch auto computer controlled can shift faster than any human. Not saying im happy about the way things are, but i can acknowledge that the Autos of this day and age are faster.
-
@GTO19020 sad to report that manufacturers sell more automatics so that's where 98% of their budget goes; to updating their auto trannies. It's quite sad.

ummmm...for all you uneducated faggots out there, AUTOs post consistent faster times than manuals, i mean look at the new Mustang or CTS-v, the autos for the V post a full .3 sec faster in the quarter mile....bitch all yo want, an auto will shift faster than a manual could ever hope to. The new benze E AMG shifts in .1sec!!! thats fucking insane!!! a pro on a manual can shift maybe .5sec from the time up release the clutch til your fully back into it....wake up ppl!
-
@jonjund You the man keep it up, 12 sec will come very soon in your n/a v6...
@ all who do not know the fastest race cars are ahhh.... AUTO, its about big money folks auto do not miss shifts and auto trans can be beefed up tougher than a stick, I drive both but have been liking the programing for auto for the stangs they run hard.
hey Jon great job with your car the runs are amazing compared to some others i have scene at atco and such, just curious about which catback you have?
