Practice jumping at home in a tight space and on very sloping ground! (Well that's my excuse for the lack of consistency in the rhythm!) Starting with trotting poles then working through a grid followed by some other interesting fences.

  • you should give a bigger mane release, but great riding! way better then me.

LOL. I'm good at giving critism just no good at riding.

  • Yes I agree! I've been working really hard over the last year and having lots of lessons to help improve my position and achieve that bigger release - hopefully my next video should show the difference! (I'm riding the chestnut in this video)

  • how high are u jumping in the beginning during the cross poles?

  • started about 50/60cm with the cross poles and bounce then gradually increased the last jump in the grid to 1m

  • Oh - why do you say that?

  • The horses look spunky and you did a great job controlling them. I love your backyard!!!!

  • Never look down when your riding. Horses can tell where your looking by your seat, and they try to go there. If your looking down they get confused about where you want them to go and therefor will not jump. Never stop riding, not for a second!

  • both great riders, and horses. i loved at the end how the girl riding the paint wouldnt take no for an answer and got the horse over the jump!

  • hey sorry i guess i wrote too much lol oops ee daisy on that last jump where the paint refused. i do this offten i let my nerves get the best of me. i pay too much attention to the jump after my horse refuses which then makes me nervous and hten makes horse nervoius.. but that was a good solution you guys came up with..

  • LOOOve the paint pony. trained a lil paint pony last year she was a delight and the year before that another paint pony notihing big training to ill mannored ponies you know how it is. but you guys look so connected with your horses very smooth. and thats awesome. your jumping might go a little smoother if you just reached your hands maybe two inches up on the neck.. i hate critizizing i just want to make the ride smoother for you and less on the horses mouth.

    and

  • miii hofse just jumps the poles ahhahah

  • i love jumping on my horse, hes half thoroughbred and half quarter, he has a steady canter, and the small jumps dont interest him

  • You guys did a great job! :)
