When I was a very small child my dad bought this record, along with "Tie Me Kangeroo Down." I was enjoying listening to it again after many years until it became apparent that the author of this video is a left-wing liberal, who just had to get a dig at George W. Bush in with the stupid "Bush-Whacked" photo. What the hell does Bush have to do with this song? Why do some people have to ruin things by being total jackholes? Americans better be worried more about what Obummer is doing to the US!

I agree there's nothing inherently racist or derogatory in this song, whose humor depends solely on the ridiculousness of a boomerang that won't come back 'cause it's not thrown! I can imagine even a lot of Aborigines getting a giggle outa this one!

I remember this song from when I was a little one (I'm not that old, only 22). My Mother bought me a record called "Looney Tunes". It had this song along with a few other great ones, such as Surfin' Bird by the Trashmen, and The Streak, I can't remember the artist of that one.
