The whole story, the world, the charater personalities, the plot, the character physical traits are barley there, everything is changed. The point of having a movie about Dragonball, means it actually has to be Dragonball. The same rants keep being said, because they are the actual flaws.

Goku didn't have to be Japanese, but he still doesnt look like goku. Chatwin isn't anywhere near Goku's build, wrong hair color, wrong hair style, and his personality is way off.

Um... most Anime characters that are good and innocent (like Goku) have big eyes (to make them look friendly) and villains (like Vegeta) have narrow eyes to be intimidating. So by your standers, all Saiyans that have yellow skin and narrow eyes are Asian. So what is Bardock? And about Goku's skin color; you do know that Tien and Goku have identical skin tones, right? And I know that you can't possibly say that Tenshinhan is white. Oh and not all Asians have yellow skin and narrow eyes.

When i saw the word "evolution" this is exactly what i thought might happen, slightly dissapointed that we won't get a true dragon ball live film to be honest, i enjoyed watching the cartoons/anime so much, was dying for a real live version. Now its an action movie a bit like dragon ball, but oh well u never know actual film might turn out decent.

This DBE movie is really boring. Bad acting, bad script. And it's trying very hard to be really funny but fails miserably. Overall I suggest to you guys to just watch Fast & the Furious 4.
